Stylish Eats

Here are some restaurants from around the country with their own sense of style. From fine dining to Saturday morning breakfast, these hot spots should be added to your To Do list.

Restaurant Iris in Memphis, TN not only has some of the finest food in the country,
the environment is completely charming. Reservations are mandatory and I suggest you call way ahead!

While the name doesn't draw you in, Top of the Hub in Boston has amazing views of Boston and one of the finest lobster rolls I have ever had.

The King Cole Bar, the original home of the Bloody Mary, at the St. Regis in NYC is dark and sexy.
The drinks cost a fortune but it is worth every penny.

The Signature Room in Chicago is where I thought I might catch the most flack for touristy spots. Say what you want, the view is one of a kind and you can choose just drinks at the Signature Lounge or dinner in the Signature Room. This is one of the few places you can use the statement, make sure to check out the bathroom ladies because the view is fabulous.

For a southwestern evening out, try Rancho de Chimayo. Located 30 miles outside Santa Fe, NM, this is a more relaxed and earthy option for stylish eats. Rancho de Chimayo is one of a kind and should be put on your bucket list.

Another relaxed pick is on a tip from a friend. Eugene, OR, home of the University of Oregon, is where you will find The Glenwood Restaurant. I have heard, through this reliable source, that this a place to hit early and often. Get on your most stylish comfy clothes and check out their breakfast.

Back to NYC for one more pick, Cafe Lalo on the UWS. If you can get there on a cool evening, the windows will be open to the street and you will want to sit there all night. It can feel small and cramped but it is completely charming and the desert case will knock your socks off.
